About the event
Fitz is throwing a Kentucky Derby party. People are invited to arrive any time after 5:00 pm. There will be television coverage all day, leading up to the race.
Fitzgerald’s will put out some typical Derby appetizers: pimentos and cheese, Benedictine sandwiches (cream cheese, cucumber canapé, deviled eggs), etc.
The drink feature will be mint Julep, offered at $9.00/cocktail/
Women’s hats (18) will be provided by Paul Brewster in case you don’t have one. But there is a prize of a $75.00 Fitzgerald’s gift card for the best hat, so it’s time to don your best Kentucky Derby hat!
After the race, people can stay and have dinner; RSVP if you plan to stay for dinner so I can make a group reservation for us to sit together.
